Mangta Das reported at p. 959 of the current volume of our reports the question of limitation which was raised in argument by the pleader for the Appellant at the last stage of the case was decided by the majority of the Bench against the mortgagee. [...] According to the view of the law of limitation adopted by the Sambapur Court at the time the suit was instituted the suit was not barred by limitation. [...] The increase is probably due in part to the prevailing high prices of food-grains and in a great measure also to the general feeling of unrest and the consquent imposition on the police of exceptional responsibilities which interfered with the supervision of ordinary criminals.
