The result of the deliberations of the Committee is the Bill in the present forrn. [...] 110 one would have expected that at the next revision of the Code the legislature would leave no loophole in the procedure of the trial of these cases likely to give -a chance to the course of justice being tampered in any way by executive bias or the zeal of the police but this amendment has gone just the other way.
