393 (a) of the Code of Criminal Procedure not merely to "females" but in the words of the Law Commisioners to persons " of decent station in life." We have another suggestion to make with regard to the general provisions of the Bill and that is that pending the final disposal of a motion for the revsion of a sentence of whipping by the High Court the sentence should be suspended. [...] ciii held that the word malikan must be taken to include the proprietors of the resumed muafi and that the co-sharers in the khewat in which the land was situate have a preferential right to prempt over co-sharers in Land in a different khewat of the resumed muafi. [...] Being Act V of 1908 with an Appendix containing the Prvincial Insolvency Act the Arbitration Act the High Court Charter Act the Letters Patent of the High Courts the Statement of Objects and Reasons and the disposal of provisions of the Old Code and of this Code. [...] The Appendix containing the Charter Act the Letters Patent of the High Courts the Provincial Insovency Act and the Arbitration Act would certainly be found useful by reason specially of the brief notes of cases added by the authors. [...] The Petitioner lodged an information to the thana that the accused Ramanath Sadkhan with the help of six other persons forcibly took possession of a plot of land belonging to the Petitioner and in the course of taking such possession caused hurt to.the Petitioner's men by the order of the said acused Ramanath.
