[...] On The Deputy Legal Remembrancet for the Crown contended that the accused in concert with Jainuddi wanted to deprive the complainant of the decreed land the erection of the huts with the help of a large body of men armed with dagerous weapons was taking forcible possession of the land. [...] 61 Bengal Tenancy Act and notice was served on the zemidar-Defendant but in spite of that the 'Defendant took proceeding under Regulation VIII of 1819 and wanted to have the putni sold that the Plaintiffs were obliged to pay the amount to the Defendant's agent to stop the sale and they now brought the suit for recovery of the said amount.
