All this may be true and the German system may be quite ideal from the German point of view but we fail to appreciate the aggressive patriotism of Germany which seeks to bring the whole of mankind under the Rule of Germany in supersession of the Laws of Nature and in contravention of the Rule of God. [...] The proposed exercise of the votes is for the purpose of otaining the control and management or a large voice in them of a.British trading copany which owns large property in the enemy's country and that this may be to the detriment of the interests of this country and the advatage of the enemy cannot be doubted.. [...] The Commissioners of the Treasury refused t't authorise the bank to pay the judgment-debt to the Plaintiffs the judgment-creditors on the ground that the debt for which the judgment had been obtained was in respect of a transaction with the head office in Berlin and not the London branch. [...] In his opinion the effect of the statute was to take away the Plaintiffs' right to deal with the assets of the bank in a way which' did not conic within the four corners of the statute the Order in Council and the licence made miler it. [...] The first Court granted a decree for assessment of rent on four of the plots of the first taluk dismissed the suit in respect of the fifth -plot on the ground that the person in possession was not one of the Defendants and dismissed the suit in repect of the other ta!tik on the ground that one Puma was not a party to the suit.
