Of the Indian Appeals the one questioning the juridiction of the Martial Law Commission in the Punjab in connection with the satyagraha diturbances in last April is of great constitutional importance. [...] In one of the Australian Appeals the Board has to determine the validity of the appointment of a certain Judge of the Supreme Court of Queensland. [...] Sunday the 11th of January last will go down to posterity as a memorable day in the history of the Inns of Court when lady students were for the first time admitted into the historic Hall of the Middle Temple for dining there as a picturesque preliminary to their qualifying themselves as members of the Bar. [...] II C. P. C. in the Court of the Subordinate Judge of Rashaye praying that the Court might be pleased to refer the matter in dispute between the parties to arbitration according to the terms of the agreement and to pass a decree in accorance with the award of the arbitrators. [...] The Opposite Party opposed the petition on the ground amongst others that the said agrement not validly executed by two minors who were represented therein by their mother was not enforceable as under the Mahomedan law the mother is not the legal guardian of the prperties of the minor and as the mother was not appointed a guardian of the properties of the minors by the Court.
