The Lord President of Council the Secretary of Stitte for India and Lord Birkenhead have reprgsented to the Treasury that means must be fonnB for strengthening the Indian representation on the Judicial Committee whose Indian work vastly exceeds the volume of all the work from the other Dominions. [...] The landlord who has the (hccsion to raise the same issue in future may successfully pleathat at ti2e time of the sur render he had no knowledge of the sale of a portion of the holding. [...] It would be sheer perversity to hold that the transfer of a portion of the holding is not the creation of a right or interest in the holding or a limitation of the tenant's right in the " holding."
