At the annual meeting of the General Council of the Bar in response to the Sir John's motion of thanks to the Chair Sir Douglas Hogg the Attorney-General allued t the retirement of Sir John from the Bar in the following terms in spite of his appeal to the Attorney-General not to delver any funeral oration on his having bcome defunct to his legal colleagues after belonging to their h [...] The catalogue issued by the University and the registration card signed by the students contained a clause whereby the University reserved the right to request the withdrawal of students without stating any reasons and the Defendant justified its conduct by force of this provision. [...] The landlord then appealed to the High Court and eventually the rent was enhanced with effect from the year 1322 B. S. After the decision disallowing the enhancement and during the pendency of the appeal in the High Court the landlord brought a suit for rent ?It the old rate for the years 1326-1329 B. S. and got a decree. [...] After the decision by special Judge allowing the enhancement on remand of the case by the High Court the landlord brought the suit out of which the present appeal arose for rent representing the difference beween the old rate and the enhanced rate for the same period. [...] The cause of action is the same and the landlord omitted to claim a relief without the leave of the Court.
