28 of the Act and pointed out that the period limited for the reversioners could not in fact detemine till the lapse of twelve years from the death of the female. [...] The title of the trespassers to the property had never been questioned till after the death of the widows and the widows had in fact never reprsented the estate. [...] The High Court on the other hand had said that the possession of the executors (they were the alleged trepassers in the case) in so far as they were not by the terms of the Will made trustees for the widows and the heirs was adverse to the widows and the heirs. [...] The Plaintiff sued the Defendant a Hindu widow for the recovery of a certain sum of money on the allegation that the debt was incurred by the husband of the Defedant and the amount was due on a balance struck by the widow. [...] The defen?e was that the estate of the deceased husband in the hands of the widow was not liable for the debt.
