The first of them deals with the recent circular of the Judicial Secretary reminding lower Courts of the High Court rules and orders as to inspection of records in the record-keeper's room and requesting that supervision of such inspetion may be stiffened. [...] The extesion made by the Hughly Judge of the High Court rule in question seems to be unwaranted and will operate prejudicially to the proper conduct of cases. [...] The istructions accompanying the aforesaid letter issued from the Hughly District Judge's office and apparently drafted by the chief of the staff appreciably iprove upon the original. [...] And then imagine tha expenses of taking copies of heaps of documents of the character stated above! And yet you are not to take " pencil notes while inspecting records in the Court." Does this abrogate the existing rule as to the exception in favour of pending cases? [...] (2) That the act on the part of the dcree-holder in attending Court with winesses to contest the application of the judgment-debtor for adjustment under Or.
