In Bengal the discontent of the subjects with the mirule of the thin Moghul Viceroy brought about a change of regime by way of a revlution and the East India Company lent a helping hand to it. [...] The Act of 1853 authorised the appointment of a Lieutenant-Governor for Bengal pending the creation of a Governorship for the Prsidency of Bengal. [...] Then came on the Parttion of Bengal and the members of the local council and the public at large put up a strong protest against such arbitrary measures against the wishes of the people. [...] The landlord of the holding brought the present suit for the recovery of khae possession of the holding on the ground of abandonment. [...] -88 r. 10 is allowed only to prevent the Defedant from disposing of or removing the prperty from the local limits of the jurisdition of the Court; such attachment confers no right in the property on the Plaintiff.
