After the conversations which the representatives of the Round Table Conference had with the representtives of the Congress the leader of the Congress party Mr. [...] As the question has been raised specifically in connection with the separation of Orissa we discussed the question of the re-adjustment of the Western boundary by reference to the Bengalespeaking areas at present included in Bihar. [...] The case-law is brought down to the 1st of March; the exposition of the law is emnently practical: forms of all notices that the assessee might receive and forms for all applications that he might have to make as also forms for returns are given; all the recent amendments and the rules are of course there. [...] In the mean-time on 25th August 1927 the present suit was brought by the Plaintiff for the enhancment of the rent of the holding. [...] 37 of the Bengal Tenancy Act was a bar to the suit: Held (JAMES and CHATTERJEE JJ.)- That the dismissal of the suit was not on the merits so as to attract the operation of sec.
