The Bengal Government publication which seeks to justify the “ Powers of the Govenor-General under the White Paper ” tries to make out that the power of the executive to overrule not merely the Ministers but to override the Legislature is compatible with the pr;nciples of responsible Government. [...] Government publication says as follows In their justification :— In the second class there are the extraordinary discretionary rights the power to take action even against the adverse vote of the Legislature the power to stop the course of debates in the Legislature and the power to make rules of legislative business known as Governor-General's Acts without the consent of either of the Ministe [...] In the case of a Dwymushyayan adopted son by reason of the stipulation between the natural father or mother and the adoptive father or mother that the adopted son shall be the son of both the family of the natural father retains the right to inherit to the adopted son. [...] As the Dwymushyayan adopted son is the son of two fathers he is equally the son of two mothers and on the (loath of the dwymushyanya adopted son both the mothers will succeed to the prperty of such son irrespective of whether this property originally belonged to the adoptive family or the natural family of the son. [...] The entry was not argued at the foot by any one but the name of the Defendant firm appeared at the top in the handwriting of the said munim: Held (TEKCHAND and MONROE JJ.)- That a mutual account being not merely one where one of the two parties has rceived money and paid it on account of the other but one where each of the two parties has received and paid on the other's account i.e.
