But what does arouse interest is the recommendation that may be made in regard to one matter icluded in the Reference to the Committee namely “ the elimination or restriction of the rights of appeal to within or from the Supreme Court.” We are not concerned with appeals to the Supreme Court that is to say to the High Court from sribordinate Courts or with appeals within the Supreme Court th [...] But with regard to appeals from the Supreme Court that is to say from the Court of Appeal to the House Of Lords it is already being said in England that any re-organisation of the judicial system in this respect will probably involve the amalgamation of the House of Lords with the Judicial Committee.
