We do not know it the elates of the Long Vacation are a matter for the Full Court or a matter of votes or whether the dates are fixed unanimously or by a majority but we are somewhat suprised that the Indian Judges who are aware of the customs of the country and the pratice and the procedure of the lower Courts have rot so far succeeded in bringing about a return to the time-honoured system [...] We are jealous of the autonomy of the High Court and we have been pointing out the inconvenience caused by the recent acceleration of the Long Vacation in the hope that the High Court itself would radjust the dates so as to suit general covenience regarding both work and leisure. [...] Judging from the record of recent years we very much apprehend that the matter will soon attract the attention of the legislature and the representatives of the people may in the interest of tax-payers and litigants seek to have the holidays fixed by statute. [...] [vox. L. fact that in exercising the disciplinary juridiction they have not to function as criminal tribunals but to place themselves in the postion of the Inns of Court and consider whther having regard to the ethics of the Bar the conduct of the impugned Advocate has beettsuch as to make him an unworthy or undesirable member of the profession. [...] The material words in the section are illicit intercourse rather than " forced or " seduced." It is the illicit nature of the intercourse for which the kidnapping or abduction takes place that constitutes the aggravation of the offeitite and not the priority in point of time of such intercourse.
