With regard to the appointment of the Judicial mem ers the Hon'ble Judges of the various High Courts Chief Courts and Judicial Commissioners' t ourts were cosulted and after a careful consideration of all the recommendations the Government have cided to appoint the following as Judicial members of the Tribunal :—Mr Mohammad Monir. [...] Justice Sen the decision of the Division Bench in Gobardhan v. Gunadhar (44 C. W. N. 102) had not been reported and so the point of the law involved in the case had to be and was argued as a point of first impression. [...] Justice Sen had not the advantage of having before him the views of the Division Bench but it is pleasing to find that proceeding on the first principles though along slightly different routes the two Courts came to the same conclusion. [...] It seems to regard a pronouncement as to the extinction of the mortgage-debt as outside the scope of the Court's powers under sec. [...] The Rules framed by the Calcutta High Court togther with the forms are given in Appendix E while a series of other Appendices give the Rules framed by the Governor-General in Council Tables of Stamp Duty the prvious A Tables Model Forms the English Companies Act (the source of almost all the amendments) and several other matters too numerous to mention.
