On the re-opening of the Court after the 'fling Vacation we offer our Bejoya greetings to our readers and subscribers to mem-.bers of the Bar and the judiciary and to all connected with the profession of law. [...] In spite of these difficulties and the in creased expense we have not allowed the reports portion to be affected in any way and have continued to supply to our sub( ribers the full quota of all reportable decsions with the same meticulous regularity as before on the same paper and at the same price. [...] We would draw the immediate attention of the Hon'ble the Chief Justice to the need of reverting to 11 A. M. as the hour for the commencement of the sittings of the Court. [...] The sub-section does not conteplate a case when the trial Judge himself discharges one of the assessors on the ground that the assessor is disqualified from acting as an assessor because of the knoledge that he has concerning the facts in issue in the case. [...] When the trial of an accused person f. tarted with three assessors but the Judge discharged one of the assessors on the ground that he had personal knowledge of the facts of the case and the trial proceeded with the aid of the two remaining assessors: Held (IQBAL AHMAD C. J. and DAR J.) —That the trial was invalid.
