As the Ordinance cases affected the liberty of the subject and as possession of the full text of the judgments was idispensable to the criminal judiciary of the province tit their administration of the emergency laws we decided to give them preference and announced our intention of reporting them before all other cases. [...] His complaint is that copies of the explanation are not furnished to the lawyers for the accused Petitioners has obtained the Rules; and his suggestion is that whenever the complaint involves a question of fact the Magistrate or Judge should be required to make or to support his return by an appropriate affidavit.
