It remains for us to assure our readers that the inclusion of the editorials will not affect the quantum of the reports. [...] Justice Ameer Ali who acted as Chief Justice during the latter part of the year has accepted the post of one of the advisers of the Secretary of State and will not return to the Court after the Long Vacation. [...] Apart from the inconvenience caused to the profession by having to attend to filings on the pre-re-opening Saturday there is a real risk of a large number of appeals and applications being time-barred by reason of the public in the Mofussil not knowing that the Saturday will not be a holiday for filing purposes. [...] In spite of repeated representations the position with regard to the delivery of the daily Cause-List of the Appellate Side has instead of improving worsened. [...] The most surprising matter regarding this state of things is its explanation which is that the authorities are unable to spare the few drops of petrol which would be required to arrange for a quicker transport to and from the press of the Daily List of the higest Court for two Provinces although oceans apparently are available for other purposes.
