Now that the establishment of a separate High Court for Assam is a matter of certainty and a matter also perhaps of a few months we offer our felicitations to the tribunal that is going to be set up. Notwithstanding the setting up of the two independent Dominions of India and Pakistan and the creation of new Provinces' by the Indian Independence Act 1947:- (1) all proceedings pending immediately before the appointed day.in any of the Special Tribunals specified in column 1 of the Schedule to this Order shall be contnued in that Tribunal as if the said Act had not been passed and that [...] 4.
