Even before the Congress was founded he took part as a pioneer in the formation of the Indian Association and the holding in 1883 and again in 1885 of the Indian National Conference. [...] It is with very great pleasure that we iform our readers of the welcome news just received that henceforward we are authorised to report judgments of the Dacca High Court and have been given facilities for the purpose exactly on the same terms as in the case of the Calcutta High Court with which our journal has been associated so closely for well-nigh 'fifty-two years. [...] therefore it was our desire that as in the case of the Calcutta High Court we should he enabled also to report on the same terms and with the same facilities the judgments of the new high tribunal of justice set up in Dacca. [...] He apeared as one of the Counsel for the Begal Provincial Congress Committee when the Boundary Commission went into the Matter of the ' demarcation of areas in Bengal and in Assani allotted to' Pikistan and to the Tndian Union. [...] After a sale in execution has been cofirmed the Court cannot by the exercise of its inherent powers cancel that sale on the ground that there has been a fraud on the Court by the suppression of relevant matters in the sale proclamation.
