Now that he has been chosen as the head of the entire aministration we hope the pace of progress will be accelerated and the calm strength of his personality will not only introduce an element of discipline efficiency and order into the administration but will also set the whole people on their onward march to prosperity. [...] Some leading personalities of Bengal have just written to the Premier the Deputy Premier of India and the Rasl-itrpati pleading for the inclusion of the Bengali-speaking areas in Bihar into West Bengal. [...] The India Government are sending technicians to explore the possibrties of development of the islands and the Minister concerned expressed the hope that the islands if properly developed " could become a little Japan." The rfugees are now on their trial and their capacity of endurance their habits of idustry and their tenacity which have been in evidence throughout the period f their [...] Though inter-provincial jealousies are corrupting our national life at its root and Bengal has been and is being hit the hardest two of her distinguished sons had courage of conviction the catholicity of outlook and the clarity of thought in dclaring in an unambiguous manner that Bengal was for a common national culture common language and script and complete unity of the whole of India buil [...] 17 of the Arbitration Act in answer to Plaitiff's claim which was the subject-matter of the reference and the award.
