In such cases the High Courts were deprived of the opportunity to prnounce on the legality of the order of arrest. [...] They are no less blameable for giving inadequate legal advice facilitating the process of chaining the liberty of people Mookerjee J. had to consider against the background of the facts of the case the question of costs. [...] All the Court officers who assisted the Master and the Registrar are also entitled to the thanks of the prfession and the litigant public for the concientious and considerate way in which they worked on the day of the re-opening. [...] M. Malik representing the Soviets even made the acid comment : " Bearing in mind the stand of the U. S. and British Governments and the stage which the Korean question has reached the proposal for a cease-fire is hypocritical camouflage intended to obtain a breathing spell for further military action." He did of course credit the authors of the draft resolution with " good intentions but ad[...] As an immediate effect of this decision most of the workers so long enjoying the benefit of the Payment of Wages Act will lose a very substantial remedy and will he put to the said hardship and harassment to which they were subjected prior to the passing of the Act.
