We learn that the National Council of civil liberties in Britain has made its rpresentation on the point to the °Pakistani High Commissioner and that a member of the Haldane Society has expressed the view that the Special Tribunal Act wherwider the accused are being tried is ultra vices. [...] According to the Potsdam Agreement 'which was naturally expected to lay down the lines of international practice in the post-World War II period the drawing up of a peace treaty with Japan should have been done by the United States of America Britain China and the U. S. S. R. with the participation of the other States cocerned. [...] Apart from all this the U. S. Government does not propose to withdraw her occuption troops from Japan after the peace treaty is signed; on the contrary it has already gained the unlimited right of continuing indefinitely the occupation of Japan after the signing of the peace treaty. [...] Basu in the elborate comments on the different articles of the Constitution has striven and with success to point out the majority view indicating at the same time the point of view of the minority of the Judges of the Court. [...] The printing and the get-up of the book is good and the price seems not immoderate in the present circumstances.
