A. We have decided on the change of nome17xviii THE CALCUTTA cl.ature particularly because of the confsion which was occasioned by the change of the title of the official report from Federal Court Reports" to "Supreme Court Reports" long after we had adoped the title of our supplement as "Supreme Court Reporter". [...] Even now complaints pour in because of the almost indistinguishable nature of the title and the mode of cittion. [...] Is the policy of the Government of India thus to be dictated by Pakistan just puling the strings the other way? [...] It is said that the Advocate-General of East Bengal raised a plea on the basis of the.Order of November 1948 in a case bfore the Supreme Court. [...] the Code of Civil' Procedure 1908 (Act V of 1908-) or in any other law or in agreement to the contrary relating to the place of suing he instituted in any Court othewise competent to try it w:thin the local limits of whose jurisdiction the person instituting it voluntarily resides or carries on business or personally works for gain.
