Sen soon got into substantial practice and for many years now he was one of the leader.; of the Bar enjoying in a remarkable degree the confidence of his numerous clients members of the Bar and the Bench. [...] As a permanent representativ;e of the Government of India in the U. N. O. he had a hard time and much he did during the period enhanced the prestige of our country in the comity of nations. [...] The Court was prsided over by a Bengalee Judge the cross-examining counsel happened to be the Advocate-General of West Begal also a Bengalee gentleman and the witness was also a Bengalee gentleman ; but still the service of an interpreter in the employ of the High Court was there to interpret in Bengali the question put in English by a Bengalee Counsel to a Bengalee witness as also to in [...] 12(2) of the Limitation Act the time properly taken for the prparation of the decree and the time which dares between the prop ouncement of the judgment and the signing of the decree should be excluded. [...] able it may he if the party claiming eclusion of the time was not responsiblti for the delay and if the Court was reponsible for the delay the party should not be penalised for the period that epired between the pronouncement of the judgment and the signing of the decree.
