Himmatsingka and members of the Bar : It is a great misfortune that in the course of the last few months we have had occasion to assemble so frequently to mourn the loss of one or another member of the Bar. [...] As a man as a 'Over Of the Arts and as a friend of the people of this country he was far greater. [...] A foreigner to this land and a member of the race which till recently ruled it he had not a shred of the rulecomplex in his composition and lie enteed joyously and on equal terms into the lives of the people among whom by his own choice he had cast his lot. [...] Even before the Constitution had widened the horizon of our legal vision even before the jurisdition and the powers of the Courts and the validity Of the laws of the Legislature had come to be the subject of daily examintion as now he had begun to be interested in those questions and his arguments even then as the learned Advocate-Genral reminded us had reference to the fudamenta [...] The judges of this Court join with the members of the Bar in paying a tribute to the memory of Mr.
