The High Court Appellate Side will be closed on Monday the 22nd June 1914 being the day fixed by the Governmen t of India for the celbration of the Birthday of the King Emperor. [...] The Appellate Court reversed that decision but on the question of costs directed that the costs of all parties in the Court of first instance and of the Appeal should come out of the estate. [...] Where the transfer is a sale of a whole holding the landlord in the absence of his consent is ordnarily entitled to enter on the holding but where the transfer is of a part only of the holding or not by way of sale the. [...] Both Courts dismissed the suits holding that it was the Plaintiff's duty when filing in 1898 the cess-return concerning that portion of his estate which related to the land in suit to mention in the return that the lands in suit were in possession of the tenant Defendants. [...] It is immaterial for the purpose of the Collector whether the land is entered as in possession of the tenant or in the khas possession of the zemindar.
