Datta Roy has done a public service in iitiblishnig Sir Nripendra Nath Sircar's speeches and writings with regard to the communal award of the Prime Minister and the allocation of scats to the se-called depressed classes in Bengal under the Poona Pact in the Provincial Legislature of Bengal as it is proposed to be reconstitued under the White Paper Scheme. [...] On the top of it when the allocation of seats has been made with a view to keep out the educated and the politically minded people out of the legislature its result in the long run is bound to prove disastrous. [...] Where under a trust deed the trustees have the power to decide whether particular persons are entitled to the benefit of the trust income or not that discretion of the trustees is liable to be supervised and if ncessary altered by the Court. [...] Even if the trust deed is so worded as to make the decision of the trustees final or even if words are used in the trust deed which would expressly oust the jurisdiction of the Court to quetion the diicretion of the trustees the Court's jurisdiction cannot be ousted. [...] 10 of the Workmen's Compensation Act for failure to make a chim for compensation within six months of the occurrence of an accident which has occasioned injury to a workman the bar to the' maintenance of prmedings under the Act is removed and suject to the ordinary statute of limitations proceedings can be maintained at any time after the expiry of the specified period.
