These estimable gentlemen used to pace the corridors of English Courts of law or the pavements thereof with a piece of straw sticking out of their boots as the trade-mark of their profession or the badge of their tribe. [...] How then it can be just to paralyse the realisation of rent in the name of affording relief to agriculturists is not apparent to anybody except perhaps the framers and supporters of the Act. [...] 17 of the Guardian and Wards Act does not permit the Court to subordinate the personal law to which the minor is subject to the consideration of what will be for the minor's welfare. [...] 98 of the Civil Prcedure Code and accordingly the point or points upon which the two Judges have diagreed must be stated and referred to aother Judge or Judges and the point or points must be decided in accordance with the opnion of the majority of the Judges including the two Judges who originally heard the appeal.
