[...] Of the total number about half were the sons of malguzars and the remainder the sons of cultivators ; 74 belonged to the Hoshangabad district. [...] Mukerjee Bio-Chemist in charge of the Rice Research Scheme Raipur to the United Provinces the responsibility for the direction of the bio-chemical part of that scheme has devolved on the Agricultural Chemist as has also the supervision of the recently initiated Sann Hemp Research Scheme.. [...] The keeing of milch cattle in the cities could then -be prohibited and a cheap supply of pure milk would automatically icrease consumption much to the benefit of the health of the citizens and to the financial advantage of the rural gaolies who are now compelled to convert their milk into ghee.
