2. The table below shows for each year since the Act came into force the total number of cases included In Statement I and the total amount of compensation paid :— Total number of cases. [...] Increases both in the nuniber of cases reported and the amount of compenstion paid were registered in Baluchistan Bombay the Central Provinces and Berar Madras the North-West Frontier Province Orissa and Sind.
