Three temporary posts of Munsiffs were sanctioned in the middle of the year; but it was found that this help would be inadequate to meet with the requirements of the newly created Small Cause Courts and the Criminal work of some of the Munsiff Courts with heavy files. [...] The difficulties were brought to the notice of the Huzur and His Highness the Maharaja Saheb has been pleased to sanction four permanent posts of Munsiffs in addition to three temporary hands sanctioned for a period of one year by the Hon. [...] Out of the four permanent hands three were taken up in the middle of June last and one joined at the close of the year. [...] The Chief Justice and myself have seen th work of these new hands and necessary instructions are given Now that the Criminal work is brought under control these new hands will be able to devote some time to the Civil wor143 also and if the help of three temporary hands is allowed to continue the Department will be in a position to show better results at the end of the current year. [...] The results of the suits against Government as shown in paras 94 to 96 of the Report will 11.
