The enclosed statements give details of the receipts and charges and of the value of import and export trade of the year. [...] 21 103 is chiefly due to the fact (i) that the Port Officer has had no leave during the year and drew full pay throughout (ii) to the increase of pay of three menials and the driver of M. L. " Pearl " and (iii) to the wrong debit of the pay of the Port establishment for the months of May and June 1929 to Customs instead of the Port Fund.
