[...] In recent times the growth of international relations among the nations of the world through modern means of communication and interchange of thoughts and ideas has given rise to certain novel situations and coditions of moral life which cannot he appreciated and visualised without a clear and distinct idea of the intricate politics of the East and the West latent in the history of the worl [...] Then the first and foremost topic in Sufi-ism is that of the existence of the Almighty and his Unity with a variety of Attributes revealed and manfested in the various types of creations that evolve every now and then on the surface of the earth and elsewhere in the Universe.
