The aim of commercial education is the prodution of men among whom the " scientific spirit has been generated through a carefully co ordinted system who analy se the problems which are made the subject matter of study into their elments to improve the ratio between the difficulty of the subject and the mental vigourt of the investigating mind ; and who apply the principles of scientific [...] The growth of municiplities ; the problems of the Indian Budget-; the complexities of the labour problem ; the intricacies of Indian Curt ency ; and the enunciation of the principles of Indian Tariff policy these are some of the problems which India will have to face. [...] In a sense *lase that resort to these shrines perform the Rilgrimage as Idol worshippers ; but the underlying impulse of the devotee is not the worship of the particular form that is in the sanctum but of that form as the embodiment of all that is best and most endearing in the Hindu theology. [...] The shrines in these places are worshipped as the persimification of the goodness the grace the love and the protective power of the Almighty. [...] Macnicol who has understood so well the inwardness of Bhakti should have fallen into the error of supposing that the Bhakti of the Hebrew was a nobler manifestation of the Soul than the Bhakti of the Hindu.
