[...] The greater part of the book is natually devoted to an account of the history and of the institutions of the Empire. [...] One good effect of the allied attack on the Dardanelles was the effect produced on the actions of Italy and helped in bringing about a popular state of feeling that largely influenced the politicians to enter into the war on the side of the Allies. [...] This in the briefest outline is a summary of the system of dogmatism that developed in the hands of the philosophers of the Absolute.
