It is expected that this walk-out will make the electins forget the vacuity of the last two on the knees of the gods but I do hope that it will not extinguish the hope which all welwishers of the country entertain that the Legislatures both Central and Provincial must be truly and fully representative of the best minds of the country. [...] Notwithstanding the manly confession of the leader of the Party in the Assembly of the failure of that programme some of the leading members of the party have not desisted from bombast. [...] The States Members are required to submit the decisions of the Conference to the necesary executive or legislative authority of the respective countries for ratification and action within one year of the closing of the Session. [...] The functions of the Industrial Labour Office include the collection and distribution of information on all subjects relating to the international adjustment of conditions of industrial life and labour and particularly the examination of subjects wbich it is proposed to bring before the Conference with a view158 THE INDIAN REVIEW [ MARCH I926 to the conclusion of international conventions and the [...] It is the official journal of the Office and contains official records of the office reports of meetings of the Governing Body and the various Commissions and information cocerning the ratification of conventions and legislation thereunder.
