There is undoubtedly a growing understanding in the nation of the importance of education from the point of view even of the prosperity and strength of the nation. [...] I believe that in forming the club the Headmaster of a school the Professor of a college or a seniormost member of any school in the locality should take the lead in the matter and in so organising he gets the coperation of others willing to assist him in this valuable work. [...] Parents should visit the school on more occasions than the two namely the time of Admission and Promotion.( 197 ) iv The problem of children in labour schools the feeding of those children during the day the equipment of such schools to create interest in pupils also deserve the warm support of the educated class.
