Notwithstanding the fact that official recognition of meritorious services in the field of political and police departments looms large in the Birth dap and New year's Honours it is gratifying to note that the clairtis of the department of Education are not neglected and that a little Space is also allotted to the chosen few from among ourselves in the galaxy of the honoured ones. [...] Education means truth it means the propagation and dissemination of whatever is the noblest the highest the grandest and the very best in the accumulated stock of human knowledge and experience. [...] It is assumed that the majority of teachers having undergone the humanising influence of a University education and the mill of a Training College are full of grit and enthusiasm and have the eagerness to serve their country in the nation-building task in diverse ways. [...] 2. Where a local branch of the U. P. S. E. Association or of the N. E. 0. Association may be in existence the one or the other may take initiative toward the formation of the Study Circle to which the Teachers not eligible to the membership of that particular association may be invited to join. [...] 6. It may be desirable to enlist the support of the Inspector of the Division or the Managers of the institutions but the teachers should not feel that any official pressure is being exercised upon them for membership of or attendance in the Study Circle.
