The percentage of Muhammadan pupils to the total number of scholars was 12.1 and is nearly double the proportion which the Muhammadan population bears to the entire population 20"156 of the Presidency. [...] The next and possibly the greatest difficulty of all lies in the examination or rather in the expectation of the nature of the eamination. [...] (5) Construct a weather chart showing the distribution of atmospheric pressure over the Bay of Bengal and the East Coast of India during a hypothetical storm with the depression passing over Cocoanada showing also the direction of the wind and indicating its strength by the relative position of the.isobars ; and give a full explanatory description of the same. [...] (3) What is meant by the dew point " ? How does its position with reference to the temperature of the air affect (1) the amount of aqueous vapour in the air (2) the hygrometic state of the air. [...] What inference can be drawn as regards the shape of the earth from the fact that this force varies from the Equator to the Poles."69 (2) Distinguish between sidereal and solar day and explain the cause of the Difference.
