[...] Under the name Cesava he is thus addressed by the Sage VytIsa the reputed author of the poem who is supposed to have been his contemporary Thou art the beginning and the end of all things ; thou art the treasure of penitences the eternal sacrifice. [...] Now Kapila is the founder of one of the six great Hiudu systems of philosophy which were founded after the period of the compilation of the lnymns of the Vedas.
