To this we should have to reckon the headless Siva idoll° and the Indranii° in the Himatnagar Museum but also the treatment of the dresses of the crowned Siva2° and of the Parvati. [...] X. of this Journal (October 1948) set forth the historical data contained in the description of Camatkarapur and its environs contained in the Nagarakhanda of the Skanda Purana and made some concluding remarks as to the vicissitudes through which the said city had passed during the Vedic and Epic ages and the probable date of the composition of the said work.
