With the achievement of independence the State has realised the need for the fullest utilization of the country's resources and the necessity for the rapid improvement of the standard"LABOUR WELFARE PERSONNEL AND ITS TRAINING 175 of living and comfort of the masses of Indian people. [...] It is also the duty of the Personnel Officer with the help of other executives and tecnicians in the factory and with the co-operation of the Works Committee to develop adequate opportunity and facilities for education and training of workers and their children in order to secure an adquate supply of well-trained workers. [...] The prescription must be carried out by a trained therapist who is trained in craft skills recretion and related subjects has a knowledge of anatomy and the neurological orthopedic of psychiatric implications of the diagnosis on the patient's chart and has a background of theory and practice in the application of the activities to the particular needs of each individual patient.
