Serving the Lord's feet—This :- either service of the feet of the Divine Form which is the object of worship of the devotee or service of the feet of every heir` regarding him to be the abode of the Lor Sri J aksmi Sri Rukmini and Sri Bhar-Aa are devotees of this class. [...] The Upaniads teach us that this mutable phenomenon is not the real state of Brahma ; but that the Reality the Noumenon is concealed behind this mutable phenomenon; and that this Reality can be realized by the suppression of the phenomenon; and that the phenomenon can be suppressed by the suppression of the sense of 'I' the limited ego the outcome of the agitated mind; and that this sense of th [...] This is the mystery of the Knowledge of Brahma."t ( ParanzahaqlsParivrJjakobani.yad 10 ). This all-pervading indwelling Spirit the Noumenon the Cause of Immortality remains concealed behind the elements:— the earth the water the fire the wind and the sky : i. e.. [...] 2 ). Behind the idea of the sense of '1' the ego is concealed the treasure of bliss immense in Self the Noumenon; and this bliss can be realized by the suppression of the functions of the mind i. c. by bringing the mind to a tranquil state. [...] They have considered this Noumenon as the illimitable Ego behind the limited ego the sense of `I' the superficial shell; and they have suggested the process of realizing this illimitable Ego by the suppression of the thought of T the limited ego: which will make us conscious of the alpervading Spirit within the body and the phenomena.
