Or again does the Buddhist worship the Buddha or the supreme ideal of which it is symbolic ? There is the difficulty of the symbol worship being dragged down to a lower level. [...] These ten are the ten crimes against the Name in the practice of Japa of the names of Bhagavan Siva and Vinu."
