On the one hand the Prime Minister and the Fiance Minister re-affirmed seizing the opportunity of debate on Presdential Address many fundametal aspects of the present Goverment's policies and the outlook on the other hand both the Comunist Opposition and the ruling Congress party joined in the race of turning their party organiztions inside Parliament into effcient fightin [...] The Budget Debate The Finance Minister rounded up the Budget Debate in the Uper House with an emphatic rfusal to restore the subsidy to food ; also with a stout denial of the charges that the Government was not doing anything for the common man. [...] The arresting BEAUTY of the Spotted Deer the phenomenal TENACIT1 of the Leopard and the glossy SMOOTHNESS of the Silver Fos aptly describe the beauty. [...] As a loyal Congressman ranking high in the affairs of that organisation it should be the duty of S. K. Patil to convince the Finance Minister and the Nehru Cabinet as a whole as to the unpopular aspects of their food price policy and if he fails to do that it is quite open to him to convince the majority of the Congress Members of the Party in Parliament and outvote the present Government for [...] When such are the obligations which the Conventions and the Treaty forced on the Bonn Government under the pretext of making her a 'free sovereign democratic republic' it is no wonder that seven out of the nine constituent States of West Germany preferred not to celebrate the last week's ceremony inspite of Chancellor Adenauer's directions to observe the day as a day of festivities.
