No doubt perfection in the sense of the dispelling of ignorance and the relisation of the Divine is an inner state and is therefore known directly only to the experiencing consciousness. As to what constitutes the realsation of the Vijnani and how it differs from that of the Jnani the Master says: "Jnana is realisation of the Atman in Samadhi by the elimnation of all phenomena through dicriminative process. [...] He was a Jnani established in the idetity of the self with Brahman and in the consciousness of the phenomenlity of the world. [...] In Heraelitus the thunderbolt symbolizes the material aspect of the Divine and the general idea conveyed in lines 10 to 22 in the Hymn is that the whole of external Nature organic and iorganic is subject to the universal10391 THE HYMN OF OLEANTHES V1T law that is the law of God.
