The harmony of the different parts of the child's nature will put them into tune with nature and true relig.on which is a vision of the harmony between the world without and the world within in both of which dwells God. [...] Harmony in education was the message of Pestalozzi and that harmony is practically exemplified in the life and work of Froebel the pupil of Pestalozzi and the founder of tie Kindergarten System. [...] In the beginning when the soul of the child was unknown to me I had thought of showing them sweetmeets and little toys promising to give them to the ones who were called supposing that the gifts would be necessary to persuade the child to make the necessary effort. [...] In the first place the student must lawn to form and reproduce readily the speech sounds ocourring in the language and in the second place he must learn to use the right sound in the right place. [...] What is wanted is that the formation of each of the sounds in the ordinary spoken form of each language should be carefully described diagrams being drawn when necessary to show the correct positions of the organs of speech.
