a public repudiation by Lord Reading of any suggestion of a dark political motive hidden behind the Commission it does not serve any useful purpose to prolong the controversy over it and the most prudent course will be to concentrate our attention on how best to exploit the possibilities of turning the labours of the Commission to the best advantage of the country.
